Poem #47

You come back into my life in waves.
You stay just enough to get sand all over
me and it takes me months to wash it
off my body and out of my hair.
You know how to invade my life for a
second and linger for days.
I don’t know what’s more stupid –
you torturing me like that or me hoping
every time that you’ll stay.

  2. Ah, but those are the best ones … We love them for it. Imagine if they stayed …

    1. If they stayed we would write different poems 😀

  3. This is beautiful Luna.
I had written something similar like this.

Like the waves of the ocean, you are.
    You come,
    You go,
    But don’t stay.
