Brave song

In this melody deep inside of me, I will tell you high over the sea.
I had to keep on this path.
I have to be strong.
I won’t be afraid of anything.
Now, I will show you.
Someday, you may feel alone and all that you have are your memories.
Everybody you love will always be there.
Stand up for yourself.
Never shed a tear.
In this melody deep inside of me, I’m at a where I see myself.
I now know that I am not alone.
With all of you, I’m strong.
As the wind blows through my hair, the future seems brighter.
I will not ever forget you.
My memories will stand strong.
I’ll always have the days in the past.
When you are feeling sad, I will hold your hand.
The light in our eyes will shine on.
We’ll raise our hands as we pray.
As the sea begins to sway, I look at my friends.
In this melody deep inside of me, I will tell you high over the sea.
I had to keep walking on this path.
I have to be strong.
I won’t be afraid of anything.

Now, I will show you.

  1. Beautiful words.

  2. Thanks Luna for posting one of my best poem/songs I have ever written in my lifetime.
What did you think of it?

    1. I loved it very much. It has a nice flow and imagery!

      1. Thanks! It was mostly about my past when I was a shy little kid. Plus I added something other people can relate to.

      2. If have a certain theme for a certain part of the week you’re looking for, I can probably can send something within that theme.

      3. No, no. The choice about which poem to send in is completely on the author. 😀
