Chorus of victorious warriors
Returning with strides that ne’er end
Both young and old, brave banner carriers
Return with gold they can’t outspend
Every member of the clan sings
Chorus of victorious warriors
And the watcher at the gate rings
To announce the valiant warriors
Arrival bears marks victorious
Beginning of long lasting peace
Chorus of victorious warriors
Claims the air and will not quickly cease
The king’s fierce black and chestnut horse
Rides ahead the column, glorious
Hindfeet raised and mouth a-neighing in
Chorus of victorious warriors.
