Hello everyone!
With our community of poets and writers expanding, I have been getting a lot of e-mails asking how to submit a poem for The Poetry Bar. Instead of writing 10 e-mails a day explaining everything, I will put it all here for all of our new members!
The Poetry Bar is a creative poetry platform where you can publish your work. It is completely free to submit. All you need to do is send your poem, a few words about yourself and a link to your blog and Instagram if you have them. In case you are not a blogger and just want to promote your new published book, you can also let us know where we can purchase your book and support your art. The e-mail to which you can send your submission is poetrybar1@gmail.com
Also, you already know that I have my own Instagram account and I also run one for The Poetry Bar: https://www.instagram.com/the.poetrybar/.
There I mostly publish poems by authors who send their Instagram handles because I want to give you credit for your work. If you publish your poems on Instagram, you can put the hashtag #thepoetrybar in the description of your poem and I will share it on our story. I thought it would be a fun way of engaging with each other a bit more.
If you have any more questions, I am here for you as always. I can’t wait to read all the lovely works you will be sending my way. Don’t forget that you can send as many poems as you’d like to have published.

Hi! All poems are published in The Poetry Bar here on the blog and the authors who give me their IG handle also get their work published on our Instagram page 😊
