Bruises

Black and Blue
Pummeled
Flying Fists
Centuries turn over
As furtherance inches forward
Degradation is more pronounced
Making Another Genocide Accentuated
Yes, i am white
Yes, i have privilege
but, i also have heart
America the grotesque
She is my country of birth
She is not my country of conviction
I take a knee
I raise a fist
