Life vs. Us

life seeks to…

teach us
we learn

change us
we adapt

end us
we fight

writers seek to…

teach us
with expressions

change us
with wisdom

end us
with truths

somewhere in the middle is reality…

  1. Wow too much wisdom in this… Thanks for sharing 🌹

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Zamadlomo! <3

      1. You’re welcome 🙂

  2. Life’s writers are some of the best teachers.

    1. I know I’ve learned a lot for others! 🙂

      1. And it is incumbent on those of us who have been taught to teach.

      2. I agree! I meant to say “from others” not for.

      3. Either way works. I thought “for others” was a very astute observation. Sometimes the things we are experience are more for others than they are for us.

      4. You’re absolutely right! Maybe subconsciously that was also a thought I’ve had. When I look back, many of the things I’ve learned, I’ve passed onto my children in the hopes they don’t make my mistakes. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much. Glad you liked it! 🙂
