I will not write here a lot, the video is below, enjoy my embarrassing story about getting scammed.

Those people (scammers) are the lowest form of life. Glad to know you did not lose all your money to those people.
I did not fall for any scams (as of yet) but have friends who have fell for such things and it can be devastating if a person gets taken for all they have in their bank account. Especially older folks (retired) like my mom’s age who are on a set income.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been scammed few times. Mostly on video games and apps subscriptions. But some scams are too obvious to ignore and have fun with.
Oh wow, that’s bad. The thing is it’s getting harder to pick up scams these days, I’ve not been caught out for a long time but I’ve come close.
I know you’re scared to but try and sell the boots again – if you follow the simple rule of they get nothing until the money is in your paypal you can’t lose.

Don’t feel too bad; we’ve all been deceived in one way or the other. I’ve learned to ALWAYS go with my gut feeling. If something doesn’t feel right, it usually isn’t right. Even before the internet there were scammers. As a young woman looking for work I paid a “job search service” to help me find a job. Needless to say, it was a scam, it took my money and never once helped me. Research, research and research always before trusting anyone when it comes to money.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, these people are dreadful – but they are out there.
You are certainly not stupid. It is all too easy to be drawn in to these things. Maybe more so in lockdown?
