How to submit for The Poetry Bar?

Hello all!

There has been some e-mails and DMs coming my way regarding The Poetry Bar and how to submit a poem and can you send in your book info to promote your book, what info is needed etc. I don’t always have time to reply to everyone in an hour or less so I will put everything here in a post as I did many times before.

The Poetry Bar is a poetry community where you can submit your poem to be published and promote your work. All you need for a submission is a poem, a few words about yourself, a link to your blog, Instagram or any other platform you would like to promote where you publish your work. Instagram is always welcome because The Poetry Bar also has an IG account and we publish the works there as well!

If you would like to promote your book, you can also send in a poem from the book, a short description of the book, link to buy the book and the link to your blog, IG or any other platform.

This is of course all free and by sending in your work you do not give me ownership over your work. Your poem is your poem! A question I get asked a lot is “Can I send in a poem I already published on my blog?” and the answer is yes. It is up to you what you send in to have it published on The Poetry Bar.

I think I pretty much summed everything up. The Poetry Bar is really my baby on this blog and there are over 1300 poems published in The Poetry Bar. I cannot believe we have had so many poems sent in!
