Goooooooooooooooood, I love summer. Make sure to follow me on Instagram at luna.theblog
This week was all about catching up with work on time. Every students says he will do his tasks on time and this year I’m actually trying to do it and it’s… Well boring as hell.
I had to spend 5 hours I the office for students to enroll in the new semester and it was exhausting but I made it through. Today I only had two lectures and I had a coffee and went on to have pizza with my birthday girl Gabrijela. We strolled around town for a while and then I went back home.
Today’s outfit is pretty casual. I love this jacket which I got at a sort of a vintage shop. I think it has a great print so I bought it and also it was very cheap. I paired it with my new ankle boots, a simple black skirt and jeans shirt.
This is pretty much it from me for today. Hope you are all having a wonderful week. Kisses!

My head hurts so bad I can barely look at my screen. The weather is changing in Zadar and it’s causing me headaches. I hope it goes away fast because I can’t drink any more pills. Yes that’s right, I’m one of those people who drink a pill for pretty much everything.
Since I’ve had that horrible headache the whole day my appetite wasn’t very big but I still had to eat something. This is my omelet tortilla. I basically put some olive oil into the pan, add half of a chopped up onion and some mushrooms and eggs to make an omelet. I always use something green in my tortilla, today it was lamb’s lettuce and I sliced a tomato on the side. It didn’t fit into the tortilla haha
My first lecture was today. It was just great. Absolutely amazing. NOT! I love the professor teaching the subject but there will just be so much work this semester. It’s kind of freaking me out already. I went for a casual it-seems-like-I’m-trying look. In my estimation, I will be wearing sweatpants to lectures by the end of the week.

It has been a century since I posted anything and there is a good explanation for it. I’ve been (pardon my French) working my ass off this whole summer and I’ve literally opened my laptop twice. I haven’t even been active on my Instagram account. My job was of a receptionist at a Hotel in Poreč but later on I also became a waitress and sort of a bartender. It’s a really long story but I honestly had no time to post anything. Here are some of my work outfits for you guys.
When I finished my job I came home to my mommy in Zabok and spent some quality family time with her and my baby nephew. Currently I’m back in Zadar where I start my third year at the university. I just have to brag about the cuteness of my baby nephew.
Yesterday I spent the morning with my mom in Zadar. This was the first time I had the chance to go around town with her any just chill. She was with me for three days and she just cleaned and cooked in my apartment. She barely let me take her out to show her around town. My mommy is kind of overly attached and addicted to having everything around her clean and she is also like a grandmother because she can’t stand to see me not eating for a minute. You know how mothers are hahaha

Right now I have a temporary one-month roommate Ivana. She is one of my friends from the university and since both of us still have exams this month we decided to live together to split the costs of rent and yesterday we went to relax ourselves a little bit. We had some cake, went to the Greetings to the Sun and then we went to a bar and drank some wine. When we got back home we downloaded a movie called “Mirror, Mirror” and Ivana made some chocolate souffle. Thank God she knows how to cook because I’m terrible at it!

Yesterday I’ve had a fun night out with my blogger friend Isabella (her blog is Unicorn Diary). We’ve been planning to go to Zagreb to the cinema since we were in Zadar on our little vacation. We watched Ice Age: Collision Course. I might be 20 but cartoons are my thing. The movie was hilarious, we really had a lot of fun and we also have our favorite characters which are Granny and Sid.
The cinema is located in a shopping mall so we went to buy our tickets first and then we went to McDonalds to eat something. We did our best to stay away from any shops because we lack self control when it comes to shopping. We were such children that we actually went into the Finding Dory booth just to get some pictures #adults. After the movie we drove home and had a drink. That’s pretty much it for my Saturday night. What did you guys do?
Not many men will understand this but I know most girls will. I’m Luna and I’m addicted to fabulous shoes. I just love looking at them, trying them on, buying them and then taking them home with me.
My mother said that if I bought all the shoes I want I would only be able to style them with bras and panties because I’ll have no money left for clothes.
Recently I purchased 3 pairs of shoes. The first ones are these sandals. They are cute, comfortable, and affordable but I actually wanted pom-pom sandals. I couldn’t find ones that fit properly so I took these. I tried to kick up my footwear color palette so they aren’t black. I mostly buy black shoes because they fit best with my clothes.
These second ones made me so happy because I was looking at them online since they came out and now I’ve finally bought them.. They are from a brand called Roberto and it’s one of my favorite shoe brands because their shoes are comfortable, beautiful, trendy and affordable. I like them because they can be used every day and are a perfect match for casual outfits as well as more elegant ones.
The last ones are a birthday gift from my mom. She didn’t know what to get me for my 20th birthday so she just told me to pick what I want and I picked these beauties. I think that these are the most stable pair of heels I ever owned. The straps don’t cut into my skin and I can spend hours in them. I actually celebrated my birthday in them and my feet weren’t hurting at all when I got home.
So this is it (for now) and I hoped you liked this post. If you want to tell me something about your clothes or shoes addiction leave a comment and you can also share with me what is your favorite type of shoes.
Yesterday was my birthday and I’ve had two celebrations. One was in Zadar in June and one was this Friday with my friends in my hometown Zabok. On both parties I’ve had so much fun and I just love my friends so much!
In Zadar I celebrated my birthday with my friend Ivana. Before the party both of us went shopping, bought each other presents and bought the food and drinks for the party. We had a private party in Ivana’s apartment and later we were supposed to go out but I just couldn’t because the exams were still going and I was just too tired to go out and dance so I skipped that part.
In Zabok I celebrated with Isabella, Jana and Marta. We drank some cocktails, ate some pizza and then drank some more. i haven’t been with them for a long time and I just had so much fun just talking to them. We really had a lot to say after all that time.
Don’t you just love them?
I love jewelry and when I got this little gift I was thrilled. I haven’t taken them off since I got them. They are hand-made in Croatia and I recommend you to check out the instagram page to see more of them.
Mine have these little decorations such as hearts, a bike, a 4 leaf clover etc. I choose the silver and black color myself because it’s easier for me that way to combine them with my clothes. I highly recommend you to purchase some of them if you are a handmade jewelry enthusiast!
I went to my cousin’s weeding this weekend and it was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed spending some time with my family and my little nephew. So, I don’t know how you do it in other countries and what your traditions are but let me explain a bit about the Croatian traditions. So firstly, some of the guests, mostly the closer family, attend a reception at the groom’s house.
There’s a lot of food, drinks, singing and dancing. Afterwards all of us get into our cars and drive to the bride’s house where another reception is being held. The same thing goes on there. When the bride’s reception is over we go to church and then to the real weeding reception where we have diner, dance, sing and have a great time with our family.
The bride looked amazing. I couldn’t stop looking at her because she was like a princess. Also my little nephew went with us but only to the groom’s reception and yes he did wore a suit. Here are some pictures of the weeding and the weekend that nearly killed me. When I came to Zadar I could barely keep my eyes open and I had to do a presentation for Monday. Well, I’m the one to blame for doing everything last minute haha
