Raindrops

always loved
when it rained
to look out the window
from an angled view
in the sea of coffee
with sleepy eyes
in a shadowy room
where it’s just me
and the sound
of raindrops
tapping.

  1. Beautiful. You have reminded me of my childhood days. To view rain from window is something to treasure.

  2. I’ve had the same experience. Thanks for evoking it with your lovely poem!
