Sunday lunch

Since I stopped posting my regular food content on YT because of my personal plague, I decided to share a little bit here because I love food, it’s a big part of my personality and I want to show you when I do something good. Today is Sunday so I had some extra time to cook and I didn’t have anything prepared in advance. I made crispy chicken with veggies on a flat bread. Doesn’t this look nice?

So for the flatbread, I used a standard recipe which consists of water and flour, salt and oil (I used olive oil). I rolled out the flatbreads and baked them on each side on a hot pan for about 2 minutes.

I decided to go with a salad which was made of cucumbers, purple onion, tomato, olive oil, ACV and some spices. It’s very simple and I usually make a big salad so I have it for a few meals. I also added some avocado to the flatbread while assembling.

The chicken was my favorite part! I tried this for the first time and I used cornflakes as breading. I sliced up my chicken breast, whisked one egg with some mils and on the side I blended cornflakes with smoked paprika, garlic and onion powder, Vegeta and pepper. The oven was preheated to 180 and I sprayed some olive oil on both sides. It was in the oven for 20 minutes and I flipped it half way through. It was so juicy and delicious.

After my lunch, I made a cold cappucino and prayed someone come and wash the dishes instead of me. Has not happened yet, but I am not losing hope.
