You came to me on angel wings.
I saw your face through the winter snow.
I saw a love that would last eternally.
When we would walk along the road, I’d remember when we first touched.
I won’t forget it.
I confess to you all of my feelings.
Then my heart would keep on fleeting.
For you my love, I give to you this song that you won’t forget.
The two of us are the same.
When you first took my hand, I told you how I felt about you.
Your eyes would light up my heart.
Our love would stretch to the depths of my soul.

I feel so warm deep inside as if I could melt.
I would always tell you “I love you”.
I wish you would do the same just before you left for war.
I would see your reflection though the mirror glass.
It would remind me of the old days.

I think that it’s filled with feelings and you can tell it was written for someone very special
That’s because there’s a girl from Macross Delta named Freya that was in love with a fighter pilot. At first they were really good friends, but over time things started to get a little more intimate between the two and then Freya started have feelings towards the pilot. It was a really romantic war based show in space of all places.
