As the years come and go
We realize over time
That life is too short
For the meaningless cries
The uncertainty must stop
Along with fearful minds
Before it’s too late
And our dreams do die
To overcome this fear
We must force ourselves
To think different than before
And release our ties
Ties to the system
That make us overthink
Without loosing faith
In becoming the person
We’re destined to become.
My name is Bisola pronounced (Be-suh-la). I’m 23 years old living in Jersey while working in New York City. I’ve always been good at writing; the words seemed to come naturally to me. I blog about my life and more recently, poetry. Most of my poems reflect my hardships with dating, finding myself or just the pleasantry of life in general.
