The Second that Spoke to Eternity

Waves on their way to solid rock
The sun streams against a chill wind
The moment always passes and never ends
As the waves die but never suspend

A cold polished bench spotlessly disused
Catches the reflection of idle poignant art
The last worshiper of something ancient
Disconnected from the vanished patents

Each note builds a connecting story
Transporting another place into yours
Worlds entwine in a language derived
In wait for what has already arrived

My name’s Stephen. I live in Northern Ireland. I’ve been writing poetry
as a hobby to explore the edge of what I can articulate and my blog is:

poems on my About Me page here:

If you would like to have your work published in The Poetry Bar send your poem, a few words about yourself and the link to your blog and Instagram (if you have one) to the e-mail poetrybar1@gmail.com
