Everybody’s looking for something

I don’t know why, but
I’m looking
through faces
through ages
in mirrors
through pages
between the lines
betwixt my ears
in the turn of phrases
and held back tears
in unasked giving
in secret care
in a God forgiving
in a smile so rare

    1. Great poem. Short and simple yet deep.
