the importance
of life
has always been questioned
ascertaining an understanding
of life
is millennia+ old
the knowledge and wisdom
of life
has always been grasped
but only by the ones who dare examine it

Grasped ? I doubt, dear. But it is always a pleasure to know what the examiners have to say on the topic. Take care, dear.
You doubt that people understand or gain wisdom in their lives? I’m not sure what you are doubting, Outosego.
Some people, and some kind of wisdom, (whatever wisdom is, for each and everyone, and whatever wisdom helps to accomplish) .
This is not a critique to you Susi. I haven’t read your books and i won’t dare to make a a critique. However, i pay attention to the words. Don’t you find “Grasped” a bit too much ?
I didn’t take it as a criticism, just trying to clarify what you meant. No, actually I don’t find that it’s a bit too much when the definition of grasped is that you “understand, make sense of , comprehend”. Many things comprise life and getting a handle on those things requires a person determined to invest and be diligent by going for truth. I know many people actively do this, so yes, I find it the appropriate word to use.
Thank you for taking the time to answer, Susi. I wish you best of luck with your books.
