Dear baby I’ll never meet
I’ll never see the way you look at me
I’ll never see when you start to smile
How messy you are when you eat
Dear baby I’ll never meet
We were so excited to see your face
But God needed at you at heavens gates
We will miss you, and keep you close to our hearts
Dear baby I’ll never meet I’m sorry I couldn’t kiss you hello, or goodbye
I won’t hear your precious voice when you cry
Tonight, with the angels you’ll fly
Dear baby I’ll never meet, I’ll always wonder who you’d be.
A scar on our hearts
One day, we won’t be so far apart

Hi. Thanks for sharing this beautifully penned poem; evoking a sense of loss: sadness: regret and pathos pathos. Really tender and touching piece. Have re-blogged. Here is the link https://goffjamesart.wordpress.com/2019/11/25/dear-baby/ Have a great day. Goff
What a beautiful poem
This poem is so utterly moving, Luna.
I had two miscarriages and as I read this, tears welled up in my eyes. I think about them often and wonder what would have become of them if they could have lived.
Your poem truly touched my heart. Beautifully penned.
