Solitary World

dreams of isolation
a cerebral pull
to a secluded island
a craving for solitude

choosing peace
and nature
escaping to freedom
and bliss

white smooth perfection
envelopes my feet
as i walk
to the horizon

pristine water
saturates my pores
cleans my soul
i’m weightless, so calm

carried away
on the whim of the ocean
the loud silence of the waves
pushing me further to tranquility

I own the perfect island.

We’ll technically still right here. It’s more of being in my head which creates the perfect island. But I get it, it’s not being happy where you are. Thanks for the feedback, Jordan!

Exactly and for someone who absorbs others being in a place around certain people is absolute hell.

I hate to sell out because a few people’s lives will be ruined but at this point I am running out of negotiation options so it will be what it will be.
