Love Me

A flower that will never wither
Is laid between my thighs
Sprouting vibrant colors
Looking for a man to love
Are you that man?
Do you know who I am?
I am flesh and bones
I am a woman
Protect me
Water me
Watch me grow into the rooted pain planted by my mother
Help me
I’m scared of the woman living in my mirror
She is broken
She is a daughter looking for a place to call home
She is lost
Please give her the coordinates to her soul
Make her feel whole
Love her, until she learns to love herself
