Drowned

Being drowned in the river bashed against rocks in the power and fury of water. To fall down with the cataract into placid waters as cherry blossom petals snow upon you. A beauty, a hope after tumultuous baptismal rite. Drowned to live again. The snow of blossoms your coronation celebration.

Court Dudek is a writer and has written two books: Descent, Ascent, Transfiguration and Beyond the Veil by Resource Publications.
