Favorite song,
Lone in my vinyl disc.
The one I’d stop in my tracks to increase the volume.
Just to hear your soothing voice.
I took in every syllable, seemed so…
The tone, pitch… baritone…
I wasn’t keen enough to take note.
With fragility, placed you in your sleeze.
Beneath the turntable, amongst other collections.
Fine dust accumulating.
