I have no idea how do I feel sort of rested because my body is refusing sleep. I already talked about this in my latest YT video, but I have been struggling with sleeping lately. I either wake up an hour before my alarm or I wake up around 2-3 and then it takes me an hour to go back to sleep.
Tonight I was actually getting some decent sleep and then the skies split open at 2:30 in the morning. There was bad weather tonight and the thunder sounded like the apocalypse was coming. The first one was so loud that it snapped me out of my dream and my windows were shaking. It went on for about an hour and it took me another half an hour to fall asleep. And of course, as soon as I am awake, no matter what time of night it is, I have to go pee. I put my sleeping mask on to avoid seeing the lighting through the shutters but then the thunder would always come as a surprise.
When my alarm went off, I felt like a pile of bricks hit me. Luckily, I am working from home this week so I could stay in bed a bit longer and nap. I came to my senses after my breakfast and tea, but it has been a rough night.
