I am loving these writing prompts lately. They really inspire me to write a post. So, which cities do I want to visit? Well, this year I’ve been to Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia and recently I’ve spent a long weekend in Opatija which is right here in Croatia.
For next year there is one city I would really like to visit and it’s Naples. My boyfriend who is my travel buddy is not really into the idea of going to Naples but fingers crossed he changes his mind. Other than that, I don’t have defined cities I would like to visit but some countries that I would like to squeeze into my travel plans for 2024 are Spain, Portugal, Poland and Czech Republic. I know I won’t have enough days off or money to do all of them, but I’ll be happy if it’s 2/4. My biggest desire is Portugal, specifically Madeira. It has been a dream of mine for so long to visit, explore the culture, refresh my knowledge of the language a bit, try some local food, go somewhere to listen to fado live.
I cannot believe it’s December and I am already thinking of future trips for 2024. Time is just flying by, I feel like it was 2019 yesterday.
Anyway, what cities or countries would you like to visit and do you have some recommendations for me for traveling on a budget next year?
