Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all those who are celebrating! I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family and loved ones and if you are struggling this holiday season, I hope you will take time for yourself and heal.

I have had a few busy days. My boyfriend was celebrating his birthday on Friday, then on Saturday we went to his friend’s party and on Sunday we came back to my family for lunch and I am spending the rest of the year at my family’s home.

I don’t have some defined plan for New Years, I think we will just chill at home and watch the fireworks and we are not the only one. We asked several of our friends if they have any plans and the answer was always no. I think that people aren’t very enthusiastic about this holiday season. I am definitely part of that demographic, it just doesn’t feel like Christmas. It’s also 14 degrees outside which is very abnormal for this time of year in Croatia.

But all in all, I am having a lovely holiday time and it’s always nice to have time off work. Also, here’s my Christmas tree. The paper you see on the ground is my nephew’s letter to Santa:
