Listen up, or better yet read up, I want to rant!
I am currently taking a week long vacation right here in Croatia with my mom. I love The Adriatic, love our seaside, love summer and I am somehow managing the whole problem of me not being allowed to spend a lot of time in direct sun.
This is a very chill vacation, meaning that there is no cooking or any type of work involved. I only make my breakfast in the morning, I have lunch outside in a restaurant and for dinner I either grab something from the store or bakery or I go to a restaurant again.
Now, speaking of restaurants and tourists…..
Listen, Croatia is a tourist country, we get a lot of people here and we are used to it, especially in the summer but some of these damn tourists need a fucking reality check. If I am sitting down to enjoy a meal in a restaurant, why am I forced to look at someone who is almost naked sitting next to me?
I would like to understand the thought process that leads these people to think it is in any way acceptable to sit down in a restaurant in your bathing suit. I don’t mind seeing it in beach bars or other establishments were it is clearly okay, but a restaurant? And don’t even get me fucking started on tourists who in no way cover up when they walk through the city.
The beach is for bathing suits. I do not want to sit in a restaurant and have to look at someone’s ass hanging out of a thong or someone’s hairy back. And yes, it is partially the fault of people who own restaurants and allow this type of behavior but still…. Have some damn class.
I just had to get this off my chest. For those of you who might feel called out by this, I stand by what I said. Put some clothes on if you are going to a restaurant.
I am going to eat my dinner now in my rental so I don’t get annoyed by other people.
