Weekend Trip to Castle Trakoscan

Hello everyone!

I had such a great weekend and if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw the stories and the pictures. Last night I went to dinner with Antonio, we had some pizza, got some drinks and today we went to Castle Trakoscan. It is so beautiful and I completely recommend you visiting it if you ever spend some time in Croatia, Zagorje to be more exact.

The part of Croatia where I live has a lots of castles and Trakoscan is the one of the most popular ones. Trakoscan was built in the late 13th century. The castle had many owners and the most popular ones were the family Draskovic from 1584. It’s a museum now. The nature and the lake around the castle are completely breathtaking and perfect for a weekend trip. We walked a lot around the lake, walked around the castle, saw the exhibition, stopped to drink something because the sun exhausted us. It was just great. It is forbidden to take pics in the museum but I took a few because the first thing I thought to myself was “I need a few pics to show on my blog!”

I know it’s not polite to disobey the rules of a museum but like… Everyone was doing it! Anyways here are some pics.

I hope you all had a great weekend and you can tell me all about it in the comments and also please check out this post #savingme, share it because I just want more people to engage in this project.

Sending love and positive vibes,
Luna

Weekend in Opatija

I realized it’s been a while since I posted something about my life, things I do and so on and, after doing some analysis on my previous posts, it came to my attention that you actually liked those posts, commented a lot so I decided to do one more again.

It won’t be a very elaborate post or contain a lot of pics but there’s a good reason for that. I spent the weekend after Valentines with my boyfriend in Opatija. Opatija is a beautiful city on the Croatian coast, one of the most beautiful to be honest. The weekend was great, we stayed at a nice hotel, went to a nice restaurant, took a long walk along the beach and all of that stuff couples do on Valentines. I don’t have a lot of pictures because my caveman boyfriend hates taking pictures and doesn’t even own any type of social media account. I mean, good for him and his mental health, but bad for me as a blogger. Just kidding, I actually admire him for being so, how should I say, “offline”.

Here are literally the only pics from the weekend I have, some of the were Instagram stories so they will have the location tag or something. Tell me now, have you ever visited Croatia?

And of course, the dress I had on during our night out.

Poem #129 – The Bleeding Sun

I saw the sun bleeding so much beauty
over the sea while it danced to the sound
playing in my head all day.

Like it listened, like it heard the struggle
I’m in. Like it understood that I needed peace.

I thought to myself – if the sea can be beautiful
in its riot of drops and waves than I can find
one thought that will keep me on my feet.

So much has happened and so much has
changed. Even the sun is disappearing from my
horizon. But soon after the moon rose and it
reminded me why I decided to share the name with him.

So strong even when he’s small. The only light
in the dark nights. He always finds a way to show
himself, no matter how many times he disappears.

Inspire me and revive me. Give me new
meaning and lead me. Moon, you messenger
that there is always something good to be found
even in the darkest night, help me sleep tonight.

Life exhausted me and left me sitting on this
beach and I feel alone but that’s alright because
I’m looking at the sun bleeding so much beauty over
the sea and setting the territory for the moon to share some
light upon the lost.

Poem #6

I am holding on to you  because I think
low of myself. I don’t believe anyone will
want me after you, I am scared that moving on
means being left alone. That’s probably what makes
me believe love is what we have.
Strange.
No love story ever described it as something
so twisted and painful.

Poem #5

I don’t need to hear that you love me.
I need you to show it to me.
I don’t need you to tell me fairytales.
I need to live them with you.
I don’t need you to be here because you think
it’s the right thing to do.
I need you to choose me before everyone else
and be here because you want to.

Poem #4

I hold you responsible for everything.
You kept your secrets to yourself, tried your
best to get into my bed while you were in someone
else’s as well and I was the fool that let you in.
Now I need you to undo what you have done to me.

Go to the night when we talked, I had my legs
over your knees and unkiss me. Go to the night
you first slept next to me and unhug me. Go to
every single day we spent together and untouch me,
unfeel me, untell all those sweet things when you
already unloved me.

Poem #3

Your same old story about how you didn’t
want to hurt me is getting me angrier by the
minute because I stopped believing it as soon
as I saw that homewrecking message on your phone.
Just grow a pair for a moment and tell me how
long have I been sharing a bed with both you and her.
