Sweet tooth

What snack would you eat right now?

Honestly, I would eat anything, but I won’t because I made some NY decisions. I already mentioned several times that I have a big sweet tooth and in the last 2 months sugar has been making me a little bit sick. I don’t know is it because of the sugar itself or because I’ve been ill continuously ill since November, but it hasn’t been working well for me.

That is why I decided to cut it out, but not completely because I am just not that person. What I am actually doing is completely lowering the amount of sweet treats I eat. It has been a week since I’ve implemented this and so far it’s going good. I do circle around my favorite treats in the store to not get tempted until I build up better self-control.

Hypothetically speaking, if I hadn’t made that decision I would definitely eat my favorite treat of all times which is Lindt Fioretto (nougat). There are also these Crème Brûlée doughnuts I love, a few of Milka chocolates, hazelnut pudding, pancakes and the list goes on. I also love Tony’s Chocolonely products because they are amazing and I support their mission to end child labor in chocolate manufacturing but unfortunately, it is pretty difficult to get my hands on their products in Croatia. I think I randomly stumbled across their chocolate one or twice. I actually went looking for it in December and I couldn’t find it anywhere but if it were more available, I would definitely opt for it over other products, even my favorite treat.

I actually have to stop writing this post now because I am getting hungry.

Love,
Luna

  1. The building self control is a process isn’t it? But it is well worth the time and effort.

  2. You made me laugh when you said you were going to end the post because you were getting hungry. Glad to know that I am not the only one who falls prey to my sweet tooth. Hope you get feeling better, and let us know how the cutting sugar works after several weeks.
