When the hell did we get to the middle of January? I swear I sneezed on NY and now we are here. Where has the time gone?
I have been back from my vacation for almost a week now, but I still had PTO days I used to do absolutely nothing and now I am back for real. My break was wonderful, I was in Istria for a few days and got to experience my first snow on the Adriatic Coast. It was pretty weird and wonderful at the same time. I relaxed for a few days and came back to Zagreb. The snow is finally, FINALLY melting and I hope it doesn’t fall again until next Christmas. I am over it.
I no longer buy into the whole “new year, new me” trend, but this year brought me a big change. I will soon start my new job and I am very excited. I still have this and next week to do on my current job and then it’s off to a new beginning. It is exciting but it’s also very weird because my current job is my first “big girl” job and I’ve been in this company for more than 6.5 years. This is just such a huge change for me.
Not only am I changing my job, I am completely switching industries I am working in. I was in ecommerce for years and now I am going into education. I am a bit scared about starting from scratch, but I have confidence in myself and I clicked with my future employers so fingers crossed all goes well!
