Weekend pancakes

Good morning guys and happy weekend!

Today is my work Saturday but I woke up feeling all types of happy for no apparent reason. I was also inspired to make this fitness friendly Saturday breakfast which includes pancakes.

I already told you that I am struggling to stay healthy and active during quarantine and I successfully turned it into my daily habit. I don’t skip my workouts and I try to eat a healthy and balanced diet. It is really paying off since I have been feeling much better and am able to cope with this current situation with a positive attitude.

My shift starts at noon and after that I will be resting and tomorrow I am going over to my sisters where we are celebrating Mother’s day. I can’t wait for my nephew to give me a proper workout because that child never stops. He is super active and is always running around. The last time I spent the morning with him my tights were killing me because he made me jump with him for hours on his trampoline. Yes, he has a trampoline (long story).

I am really happy about Croatia slowly going out of quarantine. Our bars and restaurants are being opened starting 11/5/ and there are less restrictions. We already know this will probably cause a new surge in the number of ill people, but I think that we will get through this fine because we became much more careful. I just hope people will still practice social distancing and keep themselves safe.

Rainy Saturday

I set my alarm to 7 this morning because I have a bunch of studying to do this weekend and I really need an early morning to do my meditation, workout, cook, clean my apartment and everything else but when the alarm went off I just heard rain falling and couldn’t force myself to get out of bed. My will power was straight to zero. No. I just wasn’t getting up so  I slept for one more hour and then the guilt made me get my lazy ass up.

I made my yummy breakfast with some music in the background. Currently, still obsessing over Machika by J Balvin. It’s just stuck in my head since it came out. Also, loving the El Farsante remix by Ozuna and Romeo Santos. As you can see, I’m into this type of music.

My breakfast is pretty simple. Just some crunchy raspberry muesli with dark chocolate, an orange because I can’t eat my breakfast without some fruit and my hot lemonade. It’s just a half of squeezed lemon, some honey and hot water. I really enjoy drinking it to cleanse my organism and it’s also yummy, like a lemon tea.

Anyway that’s it from me this morning. I have to make my big cup of coffee and get down to work even though I just want to be in my bed and watch movies.

Breakfast and barbecue


I ate too much yesterday. Waaaaay to much. My friends and I had a small barbecue and in the morning, while everyone was still sleeping, I made my boyfriend and me some breakfast. We went to McDonalds last Sunday and he really wanted to try the Mcwrap breakfast tortilla so I gave it a go. It turned out pretty good, pretty tasty, I was proud of myself because I am not much of a cook.

The tortilla is homemade and it’s one of the rare things I can do because it’s extremely easy. Some water, flour, salt, oil and tadaaaah. We filled them up with some scrambled eggs, salad, tomatoes and bacon. On the side we have some fruit, a cappuccino and I have to drink my magnesium which tastes awful.

Later that day we had a barbecue. The boys did most of the work. Ivana and I made sure we have something to drink. There was some beer for the guys and some wine for us. I just have to say it was so good. After we ate we watched some TV and in the end we watched Deadpool so I had a chance to see the whole movie and not fall asleep like last time.

Today I have to get down to work because I’ve been procrastinating like crazythese past few days. That’s it for me today, hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. Love you all!

Little breakfast sandwiches

Good Morning! I’m going to die of boredom today. It was raining all night long and it’s cold outside so no beach for me today. I think I’ll start reading a book. The owner of the apartment left some book behind so I’ll check out if they’re any good.

Anyway I started my day with a bit of unusual breakfast for me. Most of the days I have oatmeal and fruit but today I didn’t feel like eating it. I got some whole wheat crackers, peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and bananas, cream cheese and chicken salami, an apple and of course that my daily dose of caffeine is here! I’m Luna and I’m a coffee addict.

Also yesterday I started doing 30 days of yoga with Adriene (hope I spelled her name correctly). Does anybody have some experience with her or any recommendations for me? I usually workout at least 4 times a week but I’ve always only done pilates, cardio and some Shaun T workouts because I love him and yoga is a whole new world for me.

Breakfast time

Good morning everyone. I’m spending a lazy morning in my apartment because my roommate will be gone for the whole day. My breakfast consists of whole wheat toast, peanut butter, grapefruit and some other fruit. I think I’ll just go to the beach by myself and rest. I’m trying to make the best of these few days that I have before my university lectures start. What are you doing today? 😀
