Positivity Press #9

The sun is shining
yet,
I woke up today to clouds and rain
I woke to a dismal day
but now the sun is shining
and I can’t find a thing that causes me to complain
because I woke up today
and it was drip dripping so I went back in
and closed the door
tight.
But later when I looked back out
the sun was shining
and I couldn’t shove

the smile from my face.

Poem #129 – The Bleeding Sun

I saw the sun bleeding so much beauty
over the sea while it danced to the sound
playing in my head all day.

Like it listened, like it heard the struggle
I’m in. Like it understood that I needed peace.

I thought to myself – if the sea can be beautiful
in its riot of drops and waves than I can find
one thought that will keep me on my feet.

So much has happened and so much has
changed. Even the sun is disappearing from my
horizon. But soon after the moon rose and it
reminded me why I decided to share the name with him.

So strong even when he’s small. The only light
in the dark nights. He always finds a way to show
himself, no matter how many times he disappears.

Inspire me and revive me. Give me new
meaning and lead me. Moon, you messenger
that there is always something good to be found
even in the darkest night, help me sleep tonight.

Life exhausted me and left me sitting on this
beach and I feel alone but that’s alright because
I’m looking at the sun bleeding so much beauty over
the sea and setting the territory for the moon to share some
light upon the lost.

Poem #28

The sun was reflecting off the surface
off the sea and it looked so beautiful and
so calm like the universe was trying to greet us.
For a moment the troubles were gone inside the
divine light of the day.

The seagulls were flying high up over the sky,
a fisherman was standing at the dock.
You could hear the waves hitting the shore
and feel the salt on your skin and the word
felt oh, so very infinite.

I moved!

I moved!

Hey everyone! For the last few days I was a bit absent and the reason why is that I was moving to my new apartment. I’m actually from Croatia, a country in Europe and I’m 19 so I enrolled into a university this year and I had to move 400 km from home. I used to live near the capital of Croatia but now I live in Zadar.

It is a beautiful town and I already love it here. My apartment is a few meters from the beach and it’s so peaceful and beautiful here. As you could tell from the poem I published last night I’m already in love with the sea here!

I decided to put my camera into a good use so here are a few pictures of the place I live and I will be publishing much more photos of the town as soon as I get completely settled. Enjoy!
