The words aren’t caught in my throat
not like a butterfly in a net,
A firefly in a jar:
in the dark
their meaning burns bright,
but for now
it is light
so even I don’t know what they mean

I like this metaphor. I wrote something similar once, but I cannot find it. Something about this poem reminds me of Plath, I don’t know why, just a feeling. I like your brevity.
Thanks so much!!
Thanks again for creating The Poetry Bar!
Kinda reminds me of a shy person
