Figment

Figment of a billion imaginations
Orbiting ’round every sensation
A simple conviction, as it may be
More likely impenetrable belief

Book of stories, fiction and fable
Enough to deceive generations
Inspired, created by many pens
Center of your table, I can’t eat

Speaking to me of the mysteries
They will dispel them as easily
Your gods, your masters, trick
Write their stories, whimsically

If truth is your only desire, please
Listen to the wind, see the trees
Men of the letter who never cease
Figment of imagination, no peace

  1. This was alright. Didn’t feel too much emotion in it (which I guess can be considered a good thing!).

  2. I enjoyed reading this
