When clouds block the sun,
yet bring no rain.
When you toil for hours,
without any gain.
When you take all the medication,
yet still feel the pain.
That is the disappointment I feel.
Bone Deep.
Stones Weep.
Can’t Sleep.
Life has exacted its toll,
yet not let me travel on,
into the sun-drenched uplands
where I belong.
Where the air is clean and bright.
No dark despair,
No Eternal night.
That is my goal, to stretch,
to reach beyond my current plight.
To spread my wings.
Take Flight.
My Name is Kristian and I live in the South East of England. I have been writing Fiction and poems since I was a child, but never shared them with anyone. Back in January 2018, I attended a Creative Writing Course at City Lit Academy in London and this opened the floodgates of my imagination. I then started my blog, Talesfromthemindofkristian.wordpress.com
I have written short stories in various genre’s including horror, murder mystery and fantasy and also enjoy writing poetry when the urge takes me.
