You’ll Never Walk Alone

We’ve danced too long on this edge

And wiggled on the blunt blade

But a slip ‘twixt the cup and the lip

And the bleeding runs way too deep

It’s sad I can’t make you laugh again

Nor hug you, to take away the pain

It’s okay if you don’t want to see me

But I’m your friend and always will be

So, if nights ever get scary and long

And eerie shadows chant fearful songs

And if the rain cannot hide your tears

Do call me, I’ll calm your every fear

I’ll hold your hands and walk with you

Until your soul find peace and joy anew
