I can be calm
and dreadful,
at once.
I let everyone in,
and lull
with my waves.
Nonetheless, I drown
the toxic
deep beneath the reefs.
And keep rot
secluded
from my perfectly honed
stones.

from my
underestimated
patience.
My name is Anastasia and I am half Kazakh and half Italian. I live and study tourism management in Milan, while also working at the La Scala theater and managing a poetry blog.
