For Lola Down

You are the True North
For my compass –
My needle always points towards you.
You are curved and soft,
Warm and I love
Lying next to you,
Cuddling your naked body
As you sleep.
I wrap my arms around you
And hold you tight –
I want to be close to you
And dream of you all night,
But my vivid visions
Rouse me from sleep
And, lest I disturb your tranquil repose,
I, from your embrace, extricate.
Your absence I feel as a pain
That spurs me to compose
Lines of poesy
As apology and to excuse
My nocturnal disposition as a recluse.

My name is HH and I write the blog:
All my posts are about my relationship with Lola Down.
