La Mar

Te miré con mis orejas,
Olvida mis ojos!
Yo sé el sonido de tu voz,
El olor del viento frío.

Están cerrados mis ojos,
Veo los colores azul y negro.
La ropa larga azul de tí,
El cielo negro de la escena.

Las estrellas, tu joyería,
El sonido de la mar, mi corazón.
Nunca abrí mis ojos, pero
Abriste mi corazón.

Dónde te encontraré en la noche,
En la oscuridad de la mar?
Esperaré a bailar contigo,
Muriendo a hablar contigo.

I have seen you with my ears,
Forget my eyes!
I know the sound of your voice,
The scent of cold air.

They are closed, my eyes,
Yet I see blue and black.
The long, blue dress of yours,
The black sky above this scene.

The starts, your jewelry,
The sound of the ocean, my heart.
I’ve never opened my eyes, yet
You opened my heart.

Where will I find you in the night?
In the darkness of the sea?
I’m waiting to dance with you.
I’m dying to talk to you.
