Palm-fronds, found hid
within the uncarved wood,
stretch shade about the desert
of the skirting board, as
‘Ray’byun camels c’lect their
stores in sanded, varnished vista.
The whiteblue gates of
bluewhite bars guard
entrance to the softbrown steps;
the caravan is led
by robed-figures.
My name is William Altoft. I’m a writer in and from (and consistently on) Bristol, in the UK.
