Works of the blind,
Those without sight.

Works of the gifted,
Not comedic clowns.
I consider
The poems I write
Works that reflect
My woes and plight.
My happiness, my joy,
My sorrow, my gloom;
The thoughts that loom
While writing a poem.
Every word, every line
Helps you traverse
Through the jungles of meaning
Conveyed by each verse.
All written fondly,
With affection and care.
With just as much love
As I can ever share.
