Hitting refresh every 10 minutes

I am kind of back. Haven’t posted anything in a while. I am still apartment hunting. I went to see a few places and yesterday I went to see an apartment that I was willing to rent out. I came there with the deposit, ready to snatch the place because I was the first who called and I was the first to get a little apartment tour and meet the owners buuuuuuuuut….

The owner said that he also invited two more people to see the place so he will pick one who will get the apartment. You guessed correctly – he did not pick me. It was the first apartment I was willing to take, no questions asked. The price was normal unlike a lot of apartments in Zagreb, it has everything, it wasn’t a studio apartment and the location was perfect for me. I was really disappointed yesterday when I saw that he opted for someone else. I still have two weeks before I have to move out so fingers crossed I find another place such as that one.

I literally constantly have three tabs opened just for apartment ads on different sites and they are all already set up to show me only the apartments I might like, I’ve set my criteria money-wise. On the fourth tab I have the Facebook Marketplace opened and every 10 minutes I refresh all of the pages in hopes I might find something. I literally do not open my blog in the morning, or Youtube to play some music – I open these four tabs and stare at them every ten minutes. I have also set up the pages on my phone so I can check when I am out. I am going crazy.

That is pretty much the only thing that has been happening lately. My life came down to four tabs on my laptop but I am confident I will find a new place that I will be able to afford and that will fit my criteria more or less.
