The first thing that comes to mind is definitely reading, but there’s this little hobby I picked up that always comes back to me which is cooking. I am not good in the kitchen but every now and then I have these phases where I get determined that I will learn how to cook better or I just see a bunch of recipes I want to try or I see some “make from scratch” recipes and I just have to give it a go. I think you can see by my Youtube channel that I have been obsessed with cooking lately.
I think that I actually want to be good at cooking like my mom is, but that is a high bar to clear! Whenever I mess something up, I always tell myself that everyone starts somewhere. I was never interested in cooking as a teenager and as a student, when I moved out and started living alone, it’s not like cooking was any type of priority for me so I am just now getting interested in it.
I have a few recipes saved that I want to try and I will also try to make videos about it because it makes it more fun for me and I hope you also enjoy them. A new video will be up on Friday, we will be cooking again, but until then you can always check out the last one:

I have no stove I have no oven someday I want a electric stove I want a kitchen as closed off I have cats. cats believe that they can put their butt wherever they want dig into everything and knock anything they want off onto the floor. it’s hard to cook with that mental atmosphere and it sounds much fun is since your mom is dead. I enjoyed your piece thank you very much.
I hate my cats being in the kitchen while I cook! I always worry about them getting burned while they are acting a fool.
There is a goody two-shoe Human Services, person came to my home with two cops because landlord has said that I was hiding dead cats in the refrigerator and behind the couch which is a lie. I hate goody two shoe people anyway. The landlord only did that to get people here, I had been trying to find homes for cats cuz I had taken in a friend’s cats last year when her ceiling fell in because she didn’t have a furnaces for 2 years her pipes froze and toilet cracked. she poked her head in I had never had enough Kitty boxes or kitty litter and so my carpet is crap and she she saw a cat sitting on the countertop she said oh that’s awful that’s not sanitary what would you do if we closed your home I said you see that car I sleep right there it’s not the first time I slept in the car. we had gotten at home Humane humane shelter in in Dubuque Humane shelter in Dubuque to take the kittens so they took 14 kittens and we had three left and so we were actually working on finding homes we never saw them back they found out I guess what we thought well what we said that we have been calling Humane shelters every week only to be told about the 78 people that are waiting to get their cats in the one in Cedar Rapids.
