I have wanted to get a tattoo since I was a little girl and I had two in mind. One would be the lunar phases and eclipses (guess twice why) and the other I wanted to tattoo a phoenix carrying a compass in his beak on my back.
Why didn’t I get either? Firstly, I am a bit scared of needles as I already shared with you. Secondly, I have this dumb allergy to some compound that can be present in tattoo ink and it would be a bit unsafe for me to just go and get a tattoo. I found that out when I was about 16 and thank God I did because I was ready to get a tattoo at 18, even if my mother disowned me. She is a bit old-school when it comes to tattoos and piercings.
But a girl can still dream of her tattoos, right? The phoenix would have been magnificent, with the red and blue ink and with the compass in his beak. I wish I knew how to draw so I could make you a picture of my vision, but my art isn’t in drawing it’s in writing.
Do you have a tattoo? Do they hurt? I am very curious!
Love,
Luna
