What’s your favorite cartoon?
Moana, Moana, make way, make waaaaaay! Yes, Moana is absolutely my favorite cartoon and yes they did make a sequel and no I did not go and watch it. The only reason why I refuse to see it now is because it’s all translated to Croatian and I don’t like that so I am waiting for it to come to streaming so I can see how much they’ve destroyed the movie. I understand the financial incentive to create all these sequels and prequels, but for the love of God leave stuff alone and make something new.
Anyways, to get back to Moana. Plot is 10/10 and the music is even better. I love how Moana is a princess without a love interest because I think that often, not just in cartoons, the reliance on love and relationships drags the original plot down and ruins the pacing of movies so I appreciated the change here.
I actually have a whole blog post about Moana on my blog, that is how much I love this movie. And now that I have written a whole other blog post about it, I know that I will be rewatching it tonight. It’s not like I have anything better to do, it’s Monday and it’s freezing outside.
