Are you a good judge of character?
I think I have a pretty strong sense when it comes to people and it usually works within a few minutes of meeting them. For some, it does take a bit longer. My biggest problem is that I sometimes question it or chose to ignore it to give people the benefit of the doubt and 9/10 it backfires.
I try not to rely a 100% on my intuition when I meet new people and I give myself and them a chance to get to know each other and then I decide if I was right at the beginning. The only situation in which I immediately cut people off is if my intuition turns on all red alarms. If someone makes me feel uncomfortable or scared without actually doing anything, I am looking for a way out. There are simply people who have that vibe about them and you can sense it as soon as they get near you. You can’t explain it, but it’s there. That pit in your stomach.
