Share what you know about the year you were born.

I thought this was an interesting prompt because I don’t know anything about the year I was born, which is 1996, so I decided to google it. I came to the realization that we really only like to keep records of terrible, horrible events and accidents.

I opened several sites and the only things I saw were bombings, plane crashes, violent unrest and other things in chronological order. That is depressing.

But I goggled Billboard top for 1996 and Macarena was number one which is a nice and fun song. Also, I randomly stumbled across the fact that Princess Diana divorced Charles in 1996 which was also great news because she was too good for him.

There I found two fun information about 1996. The third info is my birth which happened on July 16th at 2:22 in the morning in Munich, Germany – if anyone wants to make my chart (I heard on Tiktok that 2025 is supposed to be a great year for Cancers and suddenly I believe in horoscope)
