There isn’t just one

What book could you read over and over again?

The second I read this, my mind was flooded with several books but I will try to narrow down the selection to top three. Let’s see how I do.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is absolutely one of my favorite books and I’ve read it a few times and I could read it again. I also love The Millennium Trilogy… and I just noticed I’ve basically put four books down when I said I would do three but I do not care. The Millennium Trilogy kicked off my Scandinavian crime novel and thriller obsession which lasted for years and these books have a very special place in my heart.

I, surprisingly, do not read a lot of poetry. I always tell myself I will take some poetry books from the library and then I come back home with novels. I could always re-read the poetry of Dobrisa Cesaric. He was a Croatian poet and his work had a great influence on me and I regularly read his work whenever my soul requires it.

I am shoving one more in and then I will stop. The last one is Who Cooked The Last Supper. I found the book very insightful, witty, heartbreaking and honest and I think that everyone should read it. I have recommended it to many some friends and they all loved it.

There are many other books that I could list here, that I have already read more than once but I think I read them because they had a good plot or I fell in love with the characters or they were my favorites once upon a time, but they didn’t necessarily impact me.

Now, I would love to hear yours, maybe I find something to add to my to-read list.

Love,
Luna
