What is your favorite season of year? Why?
I never thought I would write this but my favourite season USED to be summer. I still love it and all, but the older I get, the less comfortable I am with extreme heat. The fact that I don’t have AC at my place is also not helpful.
I would have to say that I became more oriented towards spring and autumn. Unfortunately, spring hasn’t been a thing for two years now. In Croatia, we just jumped from low temperatures to scorching heat which somehow made my spring allergies worse. I am literally dying this week with the amount of pollen that’s in the air and I had to get pills for my allergies which make me very sleepy. My throat is all irritated, nose dripping and I am in a constant state of a pounding headache because my sinuses are congested. Natural selection is really trying to send a message to me and people like me, huh?
I think that all seasons have their own allure, good and bad sides but I am just leaning more to the side of “I don’t want sweat dripping down my back constantly”
