#408 A shower of pink

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

It was an umbrella at first
Sunlight would pierce
here and there
through the pink petals
You felt protected
in the warm womb
of that tree

Then the winds came
strong and high
they scattered the cherry blossoms
across the sky
They fell to the ground
and the only thing you could do
was spin in place
in your personal fairytale
showered in pink
