Hello everyone and happy Friday!
I am very happy that this Friday finally arrived because I am going back to Zagreb and I will see my boyfriend (I know he reads my blog every day and I wrote this on purpose), my paycheck is coming and the weekend is coming.
I will finally go and return those boots I talked about in my new Youtube video so I will also get my money back and finally go on a hunt for a new pair of winter boots. I am not at all excited about walking around a shopping mall to return a pair of boots because the corona situation in Croatia has escalated.
How are you doing and what are your plans for the weekend? Let everyone know something good that happened lately, we can all use a bit of positive vibes at the end of the work week.

Morning! I am still deciding if it’s good.
I was supposed to finish my Coffee Date with Luna yesterday evening and have it published today, but that is postponed because my mother had this terrific idea we should start assembling our new dining table at 7PM on a Friday night. Yes, my life is a bit boring.
We are still in the process of buying furniture for our apartment, replacing the old that we do not like etc., and my mom got obsessed with this dining table and we bought it as well as a new coffee table for the living room. I really have to emphasize that we still have our old coffee table and our old dining table. Did that stop my mother from making me unbox the pieces and forcing me to help her assemble the new table? No.
We now have two coffee tables, one regular dining table and one dining table that still has to be assembled. I feel like I am living in a furniture store. Why didn’t we finish the table, you ask?
She didn’t want to say it out loud, but along the way, my mother realized that we actually cannot fit two dining tables in our apartment at once. All of the sudden she wanted to go to sleep because she was tired. Mhm. She just didn’t want to admit I was right.
I cannot wait for all of this remodeling to be over, but the thing with having a mother obsessed with stuff like this, means that remodeling is never over.
I know that people look forward to changing up their apartments but buying new furniture doesn’t just give you new furniture. It also gives you back pain and THEY SHOULD PUT THAT ON THE BOX with the instructions. I am going to do my stretches now and today I will finish the Coffee Date post. I promise that no piece of furniture will stand in the way of me finishing that post.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend ❤
Sending love and positive vibes,
Good morning guys and happy weekend!
Today is my work Saturday but I woke up feeling all types of happy for no apparent reason. I was also inspired to make this fitness friendly Saturday breakfast which includes pancakes.
I already told you that I am struggling to stay healthy and active during quarantine and I successfully turned it into my daily habit. I don’t skip my workouts and I try to eat a healthy and balanced diet. It is really paying off since I have been feeling much better and am able to cope with this current situation with a positive attitude.
My shift starts at noon and after that I will be resting and tomorrow I am going over to my sisters where we are celebrating Mother’s day. I can’t wait for my nephew to give me a proper workout because that child never stops. He is super active and is always running around. The last time I spent the morning with him my tights were killing me because he made me jump with him for hours on his trampoline. Yes, he has a trampoline (long story).
I am really happy about Croatia slowly going out of quarantine. Our bars and restaurants are being opened starting 11/5/ and there are less restrictions. We already know this will probably cause a new surge in the number of ill people, but I think that we will get through this fine because we became much more careful. I just hope people will still practice social distancing and keep themselves safe.
How is the situation in your country and what are your plans for the weekend?
I have the worst hangover of my life and I didn’t even drink this weekend. I spent two days in a rented out room because, due to my job and a shift until 11 PM, I had no way of getting back home from Zagreb on Friday and Saturday and I didn’t sleep for the last two nights. Let me tell you all about it.
Since I am not really the one to spend massive amounts of money on a room to sleep in because of my job I took one of the affordable, but still nice rooms. Well, considering the room I was in it wasn’t nice and due to it not being nice it was also not affordable since the room wasn’t worth the money.
It seemed way better on pictures (as always). I arrived to that building, got to the third floor and there was a woman that showed me to my room. The whole floor was filled with rooms which were being rented out. She showed me where to turn on the air conditioning and she wasn’t quite as friendly as you’d expect a host to be and then she told me that, since I paid in advance, I can just leave the card in room when I leave and that there was no need for a checkout process. Then she took my ID and TOOK PICTURES OF IT which, speaking from experience because I worked as a receptionist, is not allowed without consent and she didn’t ask and took 20 kunas for the tax for staying in the room. I never got a receipt for that. Everything was so weird but I was like okay, it’s just two days.
When she left I scanned the room a bit. The sheets on the bed were a bit rough but I wasn’t complaining and then I entered the little bathroom every room has. The smell. Guys that smell. The bathroom itself was visibly cleaned but I honestly hope someone will tell the owners to take the fucking shower curtain and wash it.
I couldn’t fall asleep at all these two night in that room. The pillow was awful. I tried to fold it in many different ways to give some support to my head while sleeping but it was like made out of cotton candy. You can bet your ass my back is hurting. My nights were filled with rolling around the bed, playing music to help me fall asleep and in the end watching Shadowhunters because sleep wasn’t happening. I checked out this morning and came to Zabok absolutely exhausted and took a good 2-hour nap to feel like myself again.
But it’s not all negative. I talked to a girl that’s looking for a roommate. She said I am the first one on the list to see the apartment and that she already prefers me over the other people who applied for the room. I guess all off your good wishes produced this miracle to happen because finally someone wants to give me a place to live in Zagreb! I am not getting my hopes up or anything because I don’t want to be disappointed in the end but I still wanted to share the good news with you. Okay… I wrote a lot in this post. Time to goooo. Thank you so much for being so positive and sending your good wishes on my last post.
Sending love and positive vibes,
I had such a great weekend and if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw the stories and the pictures. Last night I went to dinner with Antonio, we had some pizza, got some drinks and today we went to Castle Trakoscan. It is so beautiful and I completely recommend you visiting it if you ever spend some time in Croatia, Zagorje to be more exact.
The part of Croatia where I live has a lots of castles and Trakoscan is the one of the most popular ones. Trakoscan was built in the late 13th century. The castle had many owners and the most popular ones were the family Draskovic from 1584. It’s a museum now. The nature and the lake around the castle are completely breathtaking and perfect for a weekend trip. We walked a lot around the lake, walked around the castle, saw the exhibition, stopped to drink something because the sun exhausted us. It was just great. It is forbidden to take pics in the museum but I took a few because the first thing I thought to myself was “I need a few pics to show on my blog!”
I know it’s not polite to disobey the rules of a museum but like… Everyone was doing it! Anyways here are some pics.
I hope you all had a great weekend and you can tell me all about it in the comments and also please check out this post #savingme, share it because I just want more people to engage in this project.
Sending love and positive vibes,
I realized it’s been a while since I posted something about my life, things I do and so on and, after doing some analysis on my previous posts, it came to my attention that you actually liked those posts, commented a lot so I decided to do one more again.
It won’t be a very elaborate post or contain a lot of pics but there’s a good reason for that. I spent the weekend after Valentines with my boyfriend in Opatija. Opatija is a beautiful city on the Croatian coast, one of the most beautiful to be honest. The weekend was great, we stayed at a nice hotel, went to a nice restaurant, took a long walk along the beach and all of that stuff couples do on Valentines. I don’t have a lot of pictures because my caveman boyfriend hates taking pictures and doesn’t even own any type of social media account. I mean, good for him and his mental health, but bad for me as a blogger. Just kidding, I actually admire him for being so, how should I say, “offline”.
Here are literally the only pics from the weekend I have, some of the were Instagram stories so they will have the location tag or something. Tell me now, have you ever visited Croatia?
And of course, the dress I had on during our night out.
I set my alarm to 7 this morning because I have a bunch of studying to do this weekend and I really need an early morning to do my meditation, workout, cook, clean my apartment and everything else but when the alarm went off I just heard rain falling and couldn’t force myself to get out of bed. My will power was straight to zero. No. I just wasn’t getting up so I slept for one more hour and then the guilt made me get my lazy ass up.
I made my yummy breakfast with some music in the background. Currently, still obsessing over Machika by J Balvin. It’s just stuck in my head since it came out. Also, loving the El Farsante remix by Ozuna and Romeo Santos. As you can see, I’m into this type of music.
My breakfast is pretty simple. Just some crunchy raspberry muesli with dark chocolate, an orange because I can’t eat my breakfast without some fruit and my hot lemonade. It’s just a half of squeezed lemon, some honey and hot water. I really enjoy drinking it to cleanse my organism and it’s also yummy, like a lemon tea.
Anyway that’s it from me this morning. I have to make my big cup of coffee and get down to work even though I just want to be in my bed and watch movies.
Enjoy you weekend!

I’ve spent so much money I’m going to starve this month… Well it’s not the first time!
I’ve hit the road early in the morning with my roommate and we went to a shopping mall for some new things. Since we had to wait for out bus on the station we had a breakfast in McDonalds. Ate some morning wraps, croissants and I had to eat an ice cream because I’m such a sugar addict. Can’t help myself :).
So I just wore some black pants, a royal blue peplum shirt, Roberto shoes, black leather jacket and my little backpack. It’s February here but it’s so hot I just walked around in the shirt, without my jacket. I can’t wait for summer to come so we can go to the beach and sunbathe.
Later we proceeded to the shopping mall. We went to H&M, Bershka, Zara… Even though my roommate didn’t want to buy anything I made her do it. I’m the most awful shopping partner ever because I want to see and try everything, it takes me ages to pick what I want and mostly I lose all control and buy the things that I don’t even need.
After a few hours of walking around the stores we came to our apartment and we’re currently making lunch. Going to make some brown rice with veggies and then back to the books because we have exams next week. Anybody have some good studying tips? Please let me know in the comments or my social media: Facebook Luna
Hello everyone, hope you’re having a wonderful day. I’m spending my studying but I took some time off to cook. This is extremely easy and not so fast, because I used brown rice and it takes some time to prepare it.
Anyways, I just made some rice, chickpeas, vegetables (carrots, corn and brussels sprouts). I just mixed it all together with some ingredients and it was delicious. Now back to the books.
Also, I’m working on a new poem so hopefully I’ll finish it by next week so don’t forget to follow my blog and read it.
Have a beautiful weekend!
