Not all poems are swans
Nor do all words have the grace of a flamingo
Poems can be chirpy
Easy on the ear like a singing sky lark
Some poems can be vulture like
Swoop down on you like an eagle
The thrush is a poetic bird
Watching a V of birds indeed is poetic
The ordinary duck is not indeed ordinary
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder
Not everyone gives a hoot
About the difficulties the poets find themselves in
But there is beauty in the hoot of the night owl.
